Who we are:

Christof Kocher

Christof Kocher is a management consultant, translator and accounting lecturer.
As a management consultant, he helps his clients to implement the latest requirements from standard setters. Over the last several years, he has been involved in multiple implementation projects, in particular relating to financial instruments (IFRS 9), revenue (IFRS 15) and lease accounting (IFRS 16).
As a Certified Accounting Specialist (CAS), Christof Kocher maintains a far-reaching network comprising specialists in financial reporting, auditors, tax advisors, finance experts and market professionals. As a management consultant, Christof Kocher believes in the motto 'if we can't figure it out, no one can'.

Christof Kocher holds a master's degree in translation (Diplom-Uebersetzer) and has developed a specialisation in financial reports over the last ten years. In addition to quarterly reports and interim reports, he regularly translates financial reports under HGB and IFRS, as well as entire annual reports, including management reports and image sections.

His expertise in financial reporting enables him to deliver high-quality and precise work even when presented with challenging or novel material. He aims to produce flawless translations that resonate with their target audience. To do so, he engages in a dialogue with the texts' authors where necessary and is widely regarded as a competent partner.
Christof Kocher also works as a lecturer. His seminars are geared towards clients and colleagues who need to gain insight into a specific subject in a short period of time. As a Master of Business Administration (MBA), Christof Kocher responds to the needs and levels of expertise of the training participants and can diverge from the traditional standard curriculum when necessary. In addition to traditional in-person seminars, he has also developed and launched webinar concepts.

In his free time, Christof Kocher likes to keep active, both on or in water: his fishing rod is always at the ready, as are his swim goggles. Real relaxation? Sailing on Lake Constance.

Tatjana Dujmic

With degrees in banking (Bankkauffrau) and financial accounting, and as a state-accredited translator, Tatjana Dujmic combines a unique experience base stemming from three worlds: finance, SMEs and translation.

For more than 15 years, she has worked as a financial translator, predominantly for audit and tax advisory firms, as well as companies in the banking and financial sector and the SME segment. Expertise and passion – an unbeatable combination for professional financial translations of the highest calibre.

After several years of working in asset management at a bank, Tatjana Dujmic transitioned from banking to the SME segment to pursue her tremendous passion for the English language. At a variety of different companies, she gained several years of experience supporting executive-level management and valuable insight into how companies are run, as well as extensive technical expertise in all the areas that entails, from procurement to sales.

Eventually the time came for her to decide to unite her two passions – English and finance. Since 2004, she has enthusiastically supported clients throughout the world in their business and financial translation needs. She says she is delighted when she can immerse herself in the translation of financial statements or a fund report for her clients. She also enjoys 'tinkering' with translations of complex PowerPoint presentations.

René Laszlo

René Laszlo is a classic lateral entrant. Following a role as a qualified banker (Bankkaufmann) at the Deutsche Bundesbank and a degree in English studies and economics, he 'coincidentally' landed at an internationally renowned agency for financial translations, where he was able to unite his love of language with his extensive technical background.

He has been working as a freelance translator for more than 15 years. During this time, he has specialised predominantly in financial reporting. No consolidated financial statements are too long for him, nor is any exotic balance sheet item too finicky. He knows the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) nearly by heart. He has contributed to the translation of multiple extensive accounting manuals for international corporations and has supported many companies in preparing multilingual documentation to introduce new standards (in particular IFRS 9 and IFRS 15).

In addition, he supports a variety of other projects with his linguistic and technical expertise, including in the drafting of internal banking guidelines to implement regulatory requirements (MiFID, Basel III, AML) and documentation for M&A projects.

For several years, he has also lectured in accounting and IFRS subjects and has developed in-person seminars, including for professional associations and auditing firms. Furthermore, he offers individually tailored webinars on selected IFRS issues to provide information on current developments and upcoming changes, for example.

Simon Diez

Language is his life. Simon Diez holds a degree as a simultaneous interpreter, is a state-accredited translator, an enthusiastic event moderator and a professional speaker.
As a master of the spoken word, he is more than a German-English conference interpreter. As a multilingual event moderator, he is especially in his element on stage where his eloquence casts a spell over his international audience.
In addition to English, Spanish and Italian as foreign languages, the Swabian native also speaks crystal clear High German; the professional speaker's voice can be heard in advertisements, commercial contexts and TV documentations.

Prior to his master's study in England, where he dedicated himself to the fine art of simultaneous interpreting, his career path led him to one of the big four auditing firms – 'by accident' as he says today with a smile. There he laid the foundation for his subsequent specialisation as a financial translator.
Precisely translating equity research texts, annual reports and corporate communication has since been part of his day-to-day work for many years. The language expert polishes a text until he has found just the right formulation. Typos have zero chance with him.

Simon Diez – a passion for language meets Swabian precision.
